Logos & Files

Artwork Requirements

Good artwork makes a visible difference to the finished uniform. Send the cleanest version of your logo or design so our team can prepare it properly for print or embroidery.

Best Files

Vector files such as AI, EPS, SVG or print-ready PDF usually produce the cleanest results.

High Resolution

PNG and JPG files can work when they are large, sharp and not compressed or blurry.

Artwork Check

Our team reviews supplied artwork before production and may request a better file if needed.

Preferred Logo Files

Vector artwork is preferred because it can be scaled without losing sharpness. This is especially important for logos, sponsor marks and text.

  • AI, EPS, SVG and print-ready PDF files are ideal.
  • Transparent PNG files can work well for digital print when resolution is high.
  • Avoid screenshots, photos of logos, files copied from social media or heavily compressed images.

Resolution & Quality

Low-quality artwork can print soft, jagged or pixelated. If the file looks blurry on screen, it is unlikely to improve in production.

  • Supply the original logo file where possible.
  • For raster images, larger pixel dimensions are better.
  • Do not enlarge a small image and assume it becomes print quality.

Graphic Artist Review

Every supplied logo or artwork file is reviewed by our graphic artists before production. If a file needs work, our team can help prepare it so it is suitable for the selected print or embroidery method.

  • We can check artwork quality, transparency, sizing, placement and print suitability.
  • We can make practical production adjustments such as cleaning edges, preparing transparent versions, setting up simple colour changes and checking logo placement.
  • If the file is too low quality or needs a full redesign, we will contact you before production continues.
  • Artwork preparation is focused on making supplied files production ready; new logo design or complex redraw work may need quote review.

Colours & Fonts

Colour can vary between screens, fabrics, threads and print methods. Supplying brand information helps us get closer to your intended result.

  • Provide PMS, CMYK, RGB or brand colour references if exact colours matter.
  • Convert fonts to outlines in vector artwork when possible.
  • Tell us if a logo must match existing uniforms or brand guidelines.

Embroidery Artwork

Embroidery uses thread rather than ink, so very small text, gradients and fine detail may need simplification.

  • Simple, clear logo shapes embroider best.
  • Tiny text may need to be enlarged or removed.
  • Digitising is the process of converting artwork into a format suitable for embroidery and is required before production.
